Fickle observation on the fashion #2 I completely destroyed these pants last week when I rode home in what Paris likes to call a snow storm (aka thick, gloppy snow flakes, lots of slush and freezing rain…) My best camel coloured trousers have now been relegated to a new pile I’ve started that I like to call “things destroyed by my bike.”  My Vans are sure to join them soon. I have a bit of a love affair with my sneakers though. As long as there are a few threads holding the canvas to the soles, they’ll be on my feet. My purple, light as a feather fixed gear (yea… I have one of those. But not in a pretentious way. I have a break!) has made clothing more like gear than anything else, especially these winter days.  One thing I’m still trying to work out is the how/why (ok, the why is obvious…) it’s so easy for the boys to pull of not looking like underdressed dipittydos while I, girl rider, spend my time straddling the line between hobo and tom boy.
